Mudita and Radhesh Ltd (M&R) specializes in transforming Butchery Chicken Waste (BCW) into premium handloom cloth and stationery, contributing to the development of a circular economy. This innovative process not only mitigates environmental pollution and health hazards but also establishes sustainable livelihoods for tribal women in remote areas of Rajasthan, India. M&R sources BCW from local poultry slaughterhouses as its raw material, subjecting it to multiple patented sanitization methods during processing. The result is the creation of pulp and yarn for handloom cloth and sustainable paper. This unique feather wool yarn is then provided to tribal women and artisans, who have received training from the organization. Working from their homes or workshops, they skillfully craft a variety of wearable items such as running cloth, quilts, shawls, jackets, embroidery, stoles, and mufflers.
