Agrocrete® is a carbon-negative building material made from crop residues such as rice straw, sugarcane bagasse, ashes, and a slag-based mineral binder. Agrocrete® blocks offer 3.5 times higher thermal insulation at half the cost while being just as strong as traditional burnt clay bricks. They do not require any changes in conventional construction procedures as they can easily withstand hammering, chiseling, and resizing, have excellent bonding with plaster, and are mason friendly.
